Background
Matthew B. Greer is a 2001 graduate of Louisiana Tech University and an experienced insurance and employee benefits professional.
He began his career with Farm Bureau in 2001 before joining Harbuck and Ridley LLC/Fairway Partners, where he served from 2003 to 2021.
From 2021 to 2026, Matthew worked with Taurus Life and Health Insurance, continuing to advise clients on employee benefits and strategic life insurance planning.
His work focuses on helping businesses plan for ownership transitions and helping families preserve and continue their legacies.
Matthew and his wife, Sara, have two children, Sophia and Wyatt.
He is active in 4-H and youth baseball and is a member of First Methodist Church Shreveport.
