Wealth Transfer

Wealth Transfer planning provides you, as the steward of your accumulated wealth, with a means of evaluating the alternatives available to you as you contemplate transferring the wealth you have accumulated. As you might already know, wealth transfer taxes (including estate and gift taxes) can take over 50% of the value of your accumulated wealth if you do not plan to reduce those taxes.

Someone once coined the phrase that the estate tax is and was a "voluntary tax."  Each and every one of us has choices as to what we will do with the wealth that we have accumulated. And more than we realize, we can, and should, protect that wealth from the ravages of taxation where possible and devote our resources to those things which are precious to us,whether they are family and friends or charitable purposes.

With all of the complexity of planning your estate, SSG utilizes a proprietary process (called the Wealth Plan) to determine what your objectives are, provide you with alternatives which can be utilized to meet those objectives, focus on the strategies and products which have been determined to be "best in class", and to coordinate those planning objectives so that they are implemented as you have determined.

Once the engagement has begun, SSG is committed to educate and communicate to you all of the alternatives which are available and how they impact the objectives that you want to accomplish. Many of our clients have been pleasantly surprised how effective the process has been for them and their families, and have stated their appreciation.

The process we use provides for an analysis of your current situation, evaluation of the objectives you would like to accomplish, and a value determination letter which will outline the various strategies available and the savings which result in the use of each one. This value  determination outline helps you evaluate the cost benefit ratio of the engagement to be undertaken and provides you with an overview of the strategies to be undertaken.

For us, it is part of the job. We at SSG want to provide you with the best since you are the best!
